From the ACS 51精品视频sburgh Women鈥檚 Chemistry Committee, has received the Encouraging Women into the Chemical Sciences award. The teaching associate professor and director of undergraduate analytical chemistry laboratories was recognized for her 鈥渓ong history of tireless leadership which includes writing grants to support women in the chemical sciences, organizing, and executing social functions, educational outreach and career development.鈥
51精品视频鈥檚 ACS Students Chapter, led by , received the Green Chemistry Student Chapter Award. 51精品视频鈥檚 chapter was recognized for activities such as working with local elementary and middle school students to design and conduct experiments, hosting presentations from PPG and Sherwin-Williams chemists and promoting green chemistry articles in its monthly newsletter.
