Poet and visual artist Xandria Phillips has been named the 2021-2023 creative writing fellow at 51��Ʒ��Ƶ’s . The fellowship provides two years of support to an early career poet, as well as the opportunity to teach community workshops, present at events and interact with the public.

Phillips, a Whiting Award winner and recipient of a Lambda Literary Award for their 2019 book “Hull,” is working on an experimental nonfiction manuscript, studio artwork and a book of ekphrastic poetry.
