51精品视频 faculty member聽David Pettersen聽has been inducted into the Ordre des Palmes acad茅miques聽(Order of the Academic Palms) as a Chevalier (Knight) by the French government. The honor, said 51精品视频sburgh鈥檚 Honorary French Consul Jean-Dominique Le Garrec, recognizes聽Pettersen鈥檚 efforts in establishing a faculty exchange between 51精品视频 and the Universit茅 Lumi猫re Lyon 2, his contributions to the expansion of French culture around the world聽and his research and writing about French literature and cinema.
Pettersen is an associate professor of聽French聽and聽film and media studies聽and the associate director of the newly renamed Film and Media Studies Program in the聽Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. He will be recognized at an award ceremony in February.
