5 51精品视频 honors students earned summer Creative Arts Fellowships

Five 51精品视频 undergraduates were awarded Creative Arts Fellowships from the David C. Frederick Honors College.

Each fellow will produce a piece of creative work under the mentorship of a faculty member or subject-matter expert, allowing them the opportunity to engage with other artists and methods across disciplines.

This summer, the Frederick Honors College awarded 90 fellowship and internship awards 鈥 including the prestigious Brackenridge Fellowship as well as opportunities in community research, health sciences research, engineering and public service. Students from across all disciplines can apply by proposing a research topic, finding a faculty sponsor and committing to completing and presenting their research by the end of summer.

The 2024 fellows are:

  • Meghana Dodda, a neuroscience and English literature major in the Dietrich School and the Frederick Honors College 鈥 鈥淭here is Color Everywhere鈥
  • Lucy Eickelberg, a studio arts and museum studies major in the Dietrich School 鈥 鈥'Her Right Hand had the Marks of the Needle' 鈥 an Examination of Transgressive Femininity in Grimms Fairy Tales鈥
  • Trish Le, a psychology and English writing major in the Dietrich School and the Frederick Honors College 鈥 鈥淗ypothesis of Hunger: A Multimedia Poetry Collection鈥
  • Jiri Palayekar, an information science and psychology major in the Dietrich School, Frederick Honors College and School of Computing and Information 鈥 鈥淨ueer Visions: Reimagining Public Spaces through Ephemeral Existence鈥
  • Kathy Vo, a biological sciences and studio arts major in the Dietrich School and the Frederick Honors College 鈥 鈥淓co-ethics over Convenience鈥
