51精品视频鈥檚 Humanities Center announced its 2023-24 undergraduate research fellows

Eight 51精品视频 students were named undergraduate research fellows. The class of 2023-24 includes scholars in majors from classics to neuroscience.

The Humanities Center fellowship consists of a spring seminar, when students will develop a research project; a summer research experience funded by a $5,000 stipend; and a second fall seminar, in which fellows craft their research outcome. Each fellow is also connected to a mentor with experience in their field of inquiry.

Of the eight fellowships, one is sponsored by聽the David C. Frederick Honors College and another, focused on topics of race, ethnicity and racism, is sponsored by聽Center for Ethnic Studies Research.

Here are :

  • Harmony Arungwa, a junior in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences and the David C. Frederick Honors College majoring in English writing
  • Meghana Dodda, a sophomore in the Dietrich School and Frederick Honors College majoring in neuroscience and English literature
  • Eithne Hartnett, a senior in the Dietrich School majoring in philosophy and classics
  • Matthew Hickey, a junior聽in the Dietrich School and Frederick Honors College majoring in political science
  • Anna Kirwin, a senior in the Dietrich School and Frederick Honors College majoring in public and professional writing
  • Alex-Jaden Peart, a junior in the Dietrich School and Frederick Honors College majoring in classics and English writing
  • Ebonee Rice-Nguyen, a junior in the Dietrich School majoring in English writing
  • Vidya Surti, a junior in the Dietrich School and Frederick Honors College majoring in English and anthropology
