Peyman Givi to Deliver Elsevier Distinguished Lecture in Mechanics

Peyman Givi, distinguished professor of at the 51精品视频 Swanson School of Engineering, has been invited to deliver the 13th聽. The lecture is sponsored by Elsevier and its publication Mechanics Research Communications. It will be hosted by the 51精品视频 in 2020.

joins a long line of distinguished lecturers, beginning with the 2008 inaugural lecture by Jan Achenbach. The lecture will be on a topic of his choosing within the field of mechanics; previous topics have included 鈥淪tructural Health Monitoring,鈥 鈥淚sogeometric Analysis鈥 and 鈥淪eeking Simplicity in the Flow of Complex Fluids.鈥

Givi鈥檚 lecture will be available聽on Elsevier鈥檚 website聽after it is delivered.聽
