6 earned Mascaro Faculty Program in Sustainability Awards
笔颈迟迟鈥檚 (MCSI) has named the 2019 awardees in the John C. Mascaro Faculty Program in Sustainability. 聽
The program is designed to enhance the University鈥檚 mission of interdisciplinary excellence in research and education. Faculty from all 51精品视频 schools and disciplines are eligible to apply as faculty fellows, faculty scholars or faculty lecturers.
- Receiving $20,000 awards as John C. Mascaro Faculty Fellows in Sustainability聽are Mike Blackhurst of the University Center for Social and Urban Research and of the Swanson School of Engineering.
- Receiving $10,000 awards as John C. Mascaro Faculty Scholars in Sustainability聽are of the Dietrich School鈥檚 Department of Biological Sciences and of the Dietrich School鈥檚 Department of Economics.
- Receiving $5,000 awards as John C. Mascaro Faculty Lecturers in Sustainability are of the Swanson School鈥檚 Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and of the Dietrich School Department of History and .
Awards are for one year with the option for renewal for an additional year for the Mascaro fellowships and scholarships.
During the year, fellows are expected to contribute to intradisciplinary and interdisciplinary research and/or education as well as help to team-teach one sustainability course as part of the University鈥檚 and .
