The听Society of Women Engineers (SWE) has selected Aryana Nakhai, a 51精品视频 undergraduate electrical engineering student, as the recipient of its 2018听Lockheed Martin Corporation听Scholarship totaling $2,500 for the 2018-19 academic year.听
鈥淭his award is recognition of Aryana鈥檚 incredible passion for power systems and electrical engineering, and it speaks to the engineering community鈥檚 confidence that she will contribute great things during her professional career,鈥 said听Gregory Reed (pictured, left), professor of electrical and computer engineering at the Swanson School of Engineering and director of 51精品视频鈥檚听Center for Energy听and the听Energy GRID Institute.
Nakhai has been a member of听51精品视频 SWE听since her freshman year in 2014.
Nakhai is studying electrical engineering with a concentration on power systems. She is scheduled to graduate in December 2018 and plans to pursue a master鈥檚 degree at 51精品视频 after graduation.
