Two 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Researchers Named Fellows for National Academy of Inventors

, Senior Vice Chancellor for Research at 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ, and , the John A. Swanson Professor of Bioengineering, were recently named  for the National Academy of Inventors’ 2019 fellowship class.

The NAI Fellows Program highlights academic inventors who have demonstrated a spirit of innovation in creating or facilitating outstanding inventions that have made a tangible impact on quality of life, economic development and the welfare of society. Election to NAI Fellow is the highest professional distinction accorded solely to academic inventors.Ìý 

Rutenbar and Federspiel have a combined 26 patents to their names, respectively, and have over 300 peer-reviewed journals and papers published.
