Students in Amy Gresock鈥檚 business management capstone course at the 51精品视频 at Bradford topped teams from 142 universities and business colleges in the penultimate week of a global business simulation known as GLO-BUS.

The class participated in the simulation to evaluate their business skills against other college students around the world. Each business made the same thing 鈥 mobile cameras and drones 鈥 and the teams could adjust factors such as employee pay and benefits, stock offers and buybacks, marketing dollars, research and development, investing and more.

The GLO-BUS system then measured how each team would perform in relation to the other teams across the globe. Each week of the semester equaled a 鈥測ear,鈥 and GLO-BUS posts standings of global top performers and corporate social responsibility awards weekly.

During the week of Nov. 13, one of 51精品视频-Bradford鈥檚 teams, CCam-AIR-a, finished in the top spot worldwide for earnings per share and fifth for its stock price.

A second 51精品视频-Bradford team, Birds Eye Innovators, tied for ninth in overall standings during the week of Oct. 23.

Students in the capstone course are business management majors Eukie Akrong, Owen Fitzsimmons, Gary 鈥淣ico鈥 Hall, Cameron Harrier, Emily Koniak and Chanelle Shoemake.
