3 student founders of a 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ health care startup were listed on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list

Adam Butchy, Utkars Jain and Michael Leasure — the co-founders of 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ startup HEARTio, which is working on an algorithm to help doctors identify heart abnormalities — were included on the list for 2024.

HEARTio’s flagship product is ECGio, a diagnostic tool that uses artificial intelligence in conjunction with an electrocardiogram to help identify cardiovascular disease faster, more accurately and at a fraction of the cost.

Butchy and Jain are each pursuing a PhD in bioengineering from 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ. Leasure (CBA ’17) majored in supply chain management with minors in math, French and economics. The trio were recognized as the University’s Student Innovators of the Year at the Office of Innovation and Entrepreneurship’s 2022 Celebration of Innovation.
