The , an organization dedicated to promoting cultural and educational exchanges, has tapped Nancy Glazener to teach in a program for displaced Ukrainian higher education students. The program, called , launched its first round of courses this summer.
Glazener, a professor of English and director of the Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies Program in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, joined 12 U.S.-based professors in teaching weeklong courses covering a range of topics in English and humanities including The Trial of Joan of Arc, Poetry for Life in the World and Glazener’s module, Gender and Sexuality Studies Today.
The aim of the program, said Glazener, is to acknowledge and nourish students’ academic lives at a time when violent events have interrupted them.
