51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ students brought Pharmacy Appreciation Week to 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵsburgh

The City of 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵsburgh issued a Proclamation of Appreciation of pharmacists, student pharmacists and their teams for their care and support of their communities and neighbors. Officials from the city and Mayor Ed Gainey’s office presented the recognition at a 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ School of Pharmacy celebration on Oct. 20.

51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Pharmacy students independently started an initiative to recognize Pharmacy Appreciation Week in the city and sent an application to the mayor’s office to bring it to fruition.

It’s also one of the highest ranked pharmacy schools — No. 13 in the U.S. News and World Report ranking and No. 5 for total research funding from federal grants.
