Vidya Surti, a third-year student at 51精品视频, was elected to the board of directors for , a 51精品视频sburgh-based nonprofit dedicated to providing studio space for artists via an equitable, community-centered model.

Surti,聽an English and anthropology major in the ,聽said she is passionate about disability inclusion, community impact and nonprofit leadership 鈥 values that align with the goals and mission of Radiant Hall.

鈥淎s someone who experiences a disability, I would like to provide insight into organizational strategic planning and increase support for disabled artists through community partnerships and programming,鈥 said Surti, who is also a student in the聽

In addition to her advocacy and advising contributions, she said she would like to use her time serving on Radiant Hall鈥檚 board to learn more about the financial logistics of nonprofit management, skills she can use after graduation.
