罢丑别听聽began in 2002 and is renowned as a top-tier 鈥渃ontinuing education course鈥 featuring prominent national and global speakers.

Since its inception, the series had been presented by Robert Morris University, but this year, the 51精品视频 assumed the role of presenting sponsor.聽

鈥淲e learned several months ago that Robert Morris University was not going to continue as the presenting sponsor and recognized that it is a logical fit for us,鈥 said Kris Davitt, senior vice chancellor for Philanthropic & Alumni Engagement.聽鈥淭he 51精品视频 and the Speakers Series have the same goals: to share knowledge and perspectives in a way that opens our minds, connects us to others, and enables us to grow. That鈥檚 the effect 51精品视频 aims to have on the region, and we鈥檙e honored to help do so through the Speakers Series.鈥

Each season the series hosts seven speakers at Heinz Hall with segments consisting of welcoming remarks, comments by the featured presenter and a Q&A session with the audience. Past speakers have included celebrities and experts from various fields including Bill Clinton, Walter Cronkite, Henry Kissinger, Robert Redford, Alan Alda, Diana Nyad, Bob Woodward, David Cameron, Newt Gingrich and Jason Alexander.

This season鈥檚 speakers include:聽

Oct. 27:聽John Bolton, former national security advisor and former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations

Nov. 10:聽Platon, a photographer with more than 25 Time magazine covers

Jan. 5:聽Walter Isaacson, historian, author and professor

Feb. 2:聽Tarana Burke: 鈥淢e Too鈥 movement founder

Feb. 23:聽Jamie Metzl, genetic engineering expert and author

Mar. 16:聽Theresa May, former prime minister of the United Kingdom

Apr. 6:聽Bill Nye, the Science Guy

are only sold as a seven-date subscription, ranging from $345 to $485. Employees may write 鈥51精品视频鈥 in the comments section of the order form to receive a 10-percent discount. Proof of vaccination and masks will be required to attend all events and will continue until further notice.
