Being a photographer at the 51ƷƵ is an awe-inspiring, door-opening, jaw-dropping, exhilarating experience. Every day, our cameras are poised to capture innovations, ground-breaking research, Panther pride and community outreach by 51ƷƵ’s faculty, students, staff and alumni.

We photograph subjects who leave an indelible impression, like 98-year-old William “Bill” Fisher — veteran, educator, high school principal and proud 51ƷƵ alum. We use innovative technologies to take the viewer across new vistas. We capture graduates as they forge their pathways into the world.

On any given day, we might be in a School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences class photographing students assisting patients with their prosthetics and then off to a lab to capture a glimpse of a fresh discovery. The next day we might fly our drone to get a bird’s-eye view of the Frick Fine Arts Building and then paint with light in our studio. Some days we are capturing campus climate, quite literally.

It’s our honor and privilege to play a role in documenting our history as it happens. Here are a few of our favorite subjects and moments from 2022. Hail to 51ƷƵ!
