Anthony Delitto will lead 51精品视频鈥檚 new Center for Excellence in Digital Education

The 51精品视频 announced today the creation of the Center for Excellence in Digital Education (51精品视频 EDGE), a hub entirely devoted to the development, advancement and promotion of 51精品视频's educational efforts in the digital space.鈥

The dedicated center will lend powerful support to the planning and implementation of the University鈥檚 online and continuing education programming across its campuses. 51精品视频 EDGE will provide a mix of centralized services while also engaging with teams within schools already working to advance 51精品视频鈥檚 digital presence and reach new students nationally and internationally.

Leading 51精品视频 EDGE will be Anthony Delitto, dean and professor of physical therapy in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. He will assume an additional role, associate provost for digital education, effective Oct. 1.

鈥淭ony and his team in SHRS have done truly pioneering and transformative work in online education for his school 鈥 specifically in its top-ranked Doctor of Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant Studies hybrid programs, in addition to five other online programs,鈥 Provost and Senior Vice Chancellor Joe McCarthy said in the announcement. 鈥淗e is uniquely positioned to guide us as we envision 51精品视频 EDGE as we look to launch at least five new online/hybrid programs over the next five years.鈥
