In preparation for the upcoming fall term move-in — known as 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Arrival — the Office of Business and Auxiliary Services has been hard at work to ensure students and families are ready. 

Valuable insights from the past academic year will be incorporated in the planning, which includes a gradual, phased move-in schedule beginning August 19. In addition, the  is back, allowing students to conveniently ship belongings to their University housing location prior to their arrival.

A new  has also launched, providing a one-stop resource for information before, during and after you get to campus. During move-in, Welcome Stations will be available at housing entrances to greet and assist students and families.

To meet increased student housing demand for this academic year, the University is partnering with the Residence Inn 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵsburgh University Medical Center on Bigelow Boulevard. 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ will continue to use the entire Residence Inn location for first-year students, providing a dedicated housing experience just like traditional residence halls with a Resident Assistant and Resident Director. Furnished rooms include kitchenettes, private bathrooms, air conditioning, a fitness center, an outdoor sports court, outdoor seating areas and on-site laundry, in addition to 24/7 security, campus shuttles and dining access. The property is a 15-minute walk to and from campus, comparable to many other University residences such as Panther and Sutherland Halls.

No matter where you live, safety protocols will be in place to support the health and safety of 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ community members. Students residing in University housing will be required to provide their COVID-19 vaccination status prior to move-in, with additional requirements for those who are not yet vaccinated.
