51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Homecoming 2022: Everything students need to know

51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ alumni will return to campus and reconnect with their alma mater during the , Oct. 6-9, 2022.

But homecoming is for students and the larger 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵsburgh community, too. Festivities kick off today and continue through the weekend. Here’s what you need to know to make your homecoming magical and memorable.

Where do I get a homecoming T-shirt?

Join the 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Alumni Association (PAA), Blue & Gold Society and 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Alumni Student Network as they kick off homecoming on the William 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Plaza. Stop by from 2-4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 to pick up your homecoming tee (while supplies last).

What’s happening this week?

A lot! Ahead of the big game on Saturday, you can show your 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ pride while making friends and scoring swag.

On Tuesday, Oct. 4, participate in the 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Traditions Scavenger Hunt, and win prizes from stickers and hammocks to a top-secret prize. All 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend.

Other events include the Traditions Paint Night, Roc Talks and a Homecoming Celebration.

Who is in the running for the Spirit of 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Award?

PAA put a new spin on a cherished custom in 2021 by shifting the homecoming court to the Spirit of 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ Award. It’s a gender-neutral academic award for two students chosen from a group of 10 juniors and seniors who are committed to academic excellence, community service and PAA's values.
