Open education resources (OER) are defined as high-quality curricular materials—textbooks, lab notebooks, videos—that are free to students at 51¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ and other institutions and allow legal permission for open use and adaptation.  

The funding from the Office of the Provost is for faculty to adapt, adopt and/or create OER for an existing course. OER supporting inclusive learning by incorporating diverse perspectives are especially encouraged. Diverse content can be added through readings, examples, images and case studies.Ìý
